Josh Rozovsky joined the Health Collective team as one of the first members of the MpowerCT project in 2008 and went on to volunteer in the twice-weekly STD clinics performing phlebotomy. He later became certified by the Department of Public Health as an HIV Prevention Counselor. Josh has also worked with HYHIL project (Hartford Youth HIV Intervention and Linkage) representing the Health Collective.

In July, 2012, after working as a volunteer in HIV prevention for almost a year, Josh joined the staff of the Health Collective as a member of the HIV Prevention Team. Since, he has since dedicated much of his time to working with clients in the MpowerCT project, reaching out to the community on social media, and testing clients. After the Collective’s longtime STD Program Coordinator Donna Shubrooks retired in 2014, Josh became our new Medical Services Coordinator.

Since 2007 Josh has been an EMT in the town of Bloomfield. Outside the Health Collective, Josh has consulted for other healthcare organizations on improving their use of technology and social media, improving patient safety, and protecting patient privacy.

If you ever come to an MpowerCT event our our Monday or Thursday evening STD clinics, you’ll get to meet Josh!
