Today, December 1, is World AIDS Day. This year’s theme is “End Inequality.”

Inequities in access to health and social services is a huge driving factor in HIV/AIDS deaths. The Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective is working hard to provide HIV testing, referrals and linkage to services, and risk reduction education.

One way you can help end the epidemic is to get tested, and encourage your partner(s) and friends to do so as well. The more people know their status, the better they can protect their health and their partner(s) health.
Call us at 860-278-4163 to make a testing appointment. Tomorrow, Dec. 2, we will be holding an HIV testing day from 12-8pm, and we also hold clinics every Monday and Thursday night.
