People are still talking about what a great time they had at the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective’s One Big Event (OBE) last November 17th.  It’s rare for a fundraiser to have such an affectionate impact on so many people, and yet OBE does.   It is a unique phenomenon of the Connecticut social and LGBT scenes each fall.

We are proud to announce the date for the 11th One Big Event will be on Saturday, October 26 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.  The date is earlier than the usual occurrence in November.  May we suggest that you mark down the first event of your autumn social itinerary?  Don’t you feel better knowing that you have something to look forward to in October?  It will be here before you know it!

One Big Event is the principal fundraiser for the programs and services of the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective.  While it is an entertaining evening, it really does have a profound impact on the lives of the many people we serve.  Your participation is important: we hope to see you at OBE in nine months on October 26th.  That should give you plenty of time to decide what you’ll be wearing….
